SUB SET CEMENTING AND WEDGING BOTTOM PACKERS (SSCWBP) are designed for use in the same situations as the cementing and wedging bottom packers (CWBP) but where non wire line or internally upset rods are being used. Packers are set by subbing casing or wire line rods to drill string. A re-useable adaptor located in casing or wire line rod joint is used to hold packer with shear pins.
